After an incredible 27 years at Easycap GmbH, we bid a fond farewell to our esteemed founding General Manager, Falk Minow. His visionary leadership has been instrumental in shaping our company’s success. While Falk is retiring from his current role, we’re thrilled to share that he will continue to support Easycap through part-time consultancy. We would like to extend our gratitude and hope that our valued end-users, partners and researchers around the world will join us in wishing him the best in his well-deserved retirement. New & available now: EDALYT – Isotonic Electrolyte Gel for GSR/EDA

Since Summer 2021 the well-known special electrolyte for galvanic skin response (GSR) or electrodermal activity (EDA) recordings, TD-246, is no longer available. Easycap GmbH therefore put its effort into developing and evaluating an alternative of equal quality. This gel, called EDALYT, is now available.

At the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital, we work with combined EEG and fMRI acquisition to study epileptic patients to determine the brain region responsible for the generation of seizures that characterize this condition. EEG signals acquired in parallel to fMRI data require the handling of artifacts in the EEG dataset due to electrode motion, for example, by blood pulsation.
